System Security is a harmful application, designed to compromise the integrity of a computer system. This harmful virus is designed to make Windows unusable and disable a lot of the tools normally used to monitor applications. The whole point of the virus is to try and fool people into paying for a program that is completely useless. It tries to do this by displaying false virus alerts on your computer.

You can run some free antispyware tools to see if you can uninstall the System Security virus, it is advisable to turn off the windows system restore first and run them in safe mode eg: PRESS the F8 key just after the PC starts to get in to safe mode.
DON'T MESS WITH THE REGISTRY unless you know what you're doing. You could try typing msconfig in the run command box and go to the start up section. Untick everything (for test purposes only) and then try a restart to see if this stops the problem. Some tricks used by computer technicians in the past to uninstall other spyware and viruses will not work with the System Security virus as there are so many parts to this threat. Even if you delete 99% of the infected files and registry entries it only takes one small part to replicate new replacements when the computer is restarted. Its also very important to inform everyone who uses your computer not to install anything that looks suspicious.
